Study Groups

Study Groups are run by experienced instructors and offer practitioners the opportunity to study special continuing education topics in small groups, mentorship style.  With a combination of short lecture and case discussions led by the instructor, these groups help facilitate the deepening of clinical skills and expertise.

Women’s Health Study Group

October 8 — December 16, 2019

  • 6 sessions, every other week for 6 group meetings; 6:30-9:00 pm
  • Instructor: Cindy Micleu (see bio)
  • Limited to 10 participants
  • Cost: $350
  • Participants must have a working knowledge of Chinese herbs.

Join us for 3 months (6 sessions) of study and discussion on Ob/Gyn topics.  Each session will include some lecture material, then discussion of cases in order to bring a clear clinical perspective on diagnosis and treatment (primarily herbal).  Participants will have the opportunity to bring their own cases if desired, and should be ready to engage in questions and discussion.  The intent of the group is to focus on some of the more difficult and complex situations that we face in clinical practice.

Each session will focus on a different topic such as commonly encountered issues in peri-menopause, fertility, postpartum, cyclic menstrual disorders, and HPV/cervical neoplasia.  Specific topics will depend on the interest of the group.  If you have questions or would like more info, please email Cindy at
