Lee Hullender is a 2001 graduate of Bastyr University, holding a masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She also completed advanced herbal study at the Shanghai TCM University in 2001 and interned with Randine Lewis, PhD, LAc.
Lee was a co-acupuncturist on a University of Washington acupuncture study on women undergoing IVF with acupuncture, and has published several articles on topics such as endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and recurrent miscarriage. Specializing in the treatment of fertility, she practices at her clinic Abundant Spring, in Bellevue, Washington, and at the Northwest Center for Reproductive Sciences in Kirkland. She is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, Resolve, and the Society for Acupuncture Research.
Lee was featured on KING-TV, and in Seattle Metropolitan and Seattle Woman magazines, as an expert in the Chinese medicine treatment of fertility. Currently, she attends the doctoral program at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM), specializing in Women’s Health. She is particularly interested in working with research design that is accurately reflective of clinical reality.
