The Jade Institute Reference Library
Grand Opening Scheduled for the Summer of 2008!
The Jade Institute maintains an extensive reference library, open to students and practitioners of Oriental medicine and other medical providers, as well as the broader community.
The collection includes over 2,000 books and journals on:
- Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine
- Natural health sciences
- Western herbal medicine
- Chinese and Western nutrition
- Anatomy, physiology, and Western medicine
- Asian philosophy, history and culture
There is a special section with audio and video materials, primarily lectures and documentaries, that may checked out by library cardholders.
Books are catalogued according to the Library of Congress system and can be found in our computerized card catalog by subject, author, call number, key word, or title.
Hours of operation:
The Jade Institute library will open its doors in the summer of 2008. Please check back then for specific hours of operation.
For students at the Jade Institute, the library will be available during the hours of all class sessions.
